of us will forget this first Cubertou experience — the intensive music-making,
the fun (including busking)...
I
give Cubertou ratings of 10 out of 10 across the board, though wanted to give
a 12 or more for owner helpfulness. We rented Cubertou for two weeks and had
our marriage ceremony there. We couldn't have picked a better place.

We spent a week in May/June at Cubertou and enjoyed the place
immensely. If you are looking for an out-of-the-way holiday home (but only
ten minutes drive from supermarkets!) you've found it!
Andy & Shirley Dawn (and the 16 others who went with us) (Derby,
United Kingdom)
beautiful, rustic, and very comfortable. Ideal for a medium
to large group, the property affords both privacy when you want it, and a
sense of community with easy, flowing open spaces. The Lot is a land of sunflowers,
wine, walnuts and cassoulet! Truly a wonderful experience!

The farmer next door was charming; he brought his cows over
most mornings, and helped us buy vin ordinaire by the gallon, and chickens
and rabbits raised by traditional methods.
Carol Overby (New York City)
a welcoming destination after day-trips to the markets, castles,
and medieval bastide towns that abound in the Dordogne region.

Rural enchantment within an easy drive of too many beauty spots
to list. Serenity with all the comforts of home and none of the fripperies.
Wonderfully energizing spot to rest and relax.

"We
loved trying out our French with André"
Activities included canoeing and swimming in the Lot, quad
biking, oral French with the farmer and the baker, badminton endurance in
the courtyard (impossible to stop play) and dare I admit, driving instruction
for the children in the field. An ideal base for such a beautiful region of
France.

"I
can't imagine a better place to celebrate a milestone anniversaire. Over 40
friends & relations to joined us at Cubertou over the course of 3 weeks
for a 50th birthday celebration. It was magical. Our guests ranged from seasoned
travelers to small children experiencing Europe for the first time. All came
away with stars in their eyes."
